Prof. Dr. Arif SARI serves as a Full Professor of Management Information Systems at Girne American University, specializing in cybersecurity, network security, and cryptography. He holds a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems and has attained an array of professional certifications including CCISO, CISA, CISM, CDPSE, eWPTXv2, eCPTXv2, CPENT, and ECIH, underscoring his commitment and expertise in the cybersecurity domain.

Bringing over six years of industry leadership to the table, Dr. Sari also holds the position of Lead Cybersecurity Architect and Co-Founder at SnipeSec Cybersecurity. The company is renowned for providing an extensive range of cybersecurity services such as training, penetration testing, auditing, and consultancy to both private corporations and government agencies.

Dr. Sari has spearheaded large-scale cybersecurity initiatives, most notably the "Neptune Project," a Desktop as a Service (DaaS) solution, and “Seddulbahir,” an AI and machine learning-based national cyber firewall architecture. His track record extends to the management of Security Operation Center (SOC) teams and to the delivery of high-impact cybersecurity projects in Cyprus and Turkey.

In addition to his project delivery skills, Dr. Sari is an accomplished researcher and thought leader, with over 70 publications in international journals and conferences. He also serves as a technical consultant for the Prime Minister's Office and the Legal and Political Affairs Committee of the Legislative Assembly of North Cyprus, advising on digital transformation and e-government legislation.
